Hello! Welcome to my website!

I am Luis Manuel (Luma) Olguín. I am social scientist and conversation analyst. I hold a PhD and MA in Sociology from the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) and an MA in Linguistics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Family Medicine at UCLA where I bring an interactional lens to improve communication processes in primary care and healthcare research.
